Victor Yurievich Dovbenko was born May 19, 1967 in Sverdklovsk in the Lugansk region of the USSR. His family moved to Voronezh in 1970. He entered the Voronezh Art School in 1985 and graduated from there in 1991. He taught at the Voronezh Children’s Art School from 1991 until 1992. Since 1992 he has worked as a full-time artist.

Exhibitions of his works include:

  • 1998: First personal exhibition, Hall of the Voronezh Artist?s Union.
  • 2001: Gallery Galina. Richmond, London.
  • 2002: Second personal exhibition, the House of Architects of Voronezh.
  • 2003: (February) Gallery of the “Russian House”, Belgrade,        Yugoslavia.
  • 2003: (October) Third personal exhibition, the House of Architects of Voronezh.
  • 2004: (November) Participant of the All-Russian competition “Viktor Popkova’s Memory”. The Bulgarian Cultural Center, Moscow.
  • 2005: (January) Winner of the competition “Christmas Pattersn”. Showroom “Faces of Voronezh”, Voronezh.

Dovbenko’s works can be found in private collections in Russia and abroad.
