P. Bell’s Chinese name is Guinam Chung. He was born in 1971 in Jilin Province, China.
Bell’s art ranges from abstract to impressionistic. His abstracts are subtle and atmospheric. His verdant landscapes convey a sense of spaciousness and luminosity. Ever inspired by nature, his compositions convey a vision of a serene and harmonious interplay between earth, sky, form and space.
Displaying an early aptitude for art, Bell won the top prize at the China International Youth Arts Festival in Beijing. Since 1990 he has been painting professionally and he has been exhibited for successive years at the Beijing International Art Exhibition.
