Mario Borella, born in Ventimiglia, Italy now lives and works in Sanremo, Italy.
His particular creative technique, refined in a continuous and fast evolution, reflects in an absolute way a love for color, for his luministic action and for his materiality that constitutes the work.
In 1983 King Gustav XVI of Sweden dedicated a particular commendation for a work exhibited in the Royal Palace of Stockholm. In 2009 his view of Villa Nobel was placed in the prestigious residence of the great Swedish inventor of Sanremo.
He has been awareded numerous prizes in Italy and abroad: Salvator Dalì Prize in Barcelona, ??San Leonardo Prize, Riviera Prize, City Prize of Sanremo, and the Sacred Art Prize.
